Arkansas’ Brandon Allen and Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott did the quarterback-duel thing Saturday and neither blinked. But wouldn’t you know it: In a game that featured 101 points and 12 TD passes, a blocked field goal was the deciding play.
Prescott (508 passing yards, five TDs) and the Bulldogs held on to beat Allen (406 yards, seven TDs) and the Razorbacks 51-50. Mississippi State linebacker Beniquez Brown sealed the win when he blocked a 29-yard field goal attempt by Cole Hedlund with 46 seconds left.
