Bulldogs Race Past Troy 45-17

The Mississippi State Bulldogs bounced back from a disappointing loss last week at Texas A&M by dismantling the Troy Trojans 45-17 at Davis Wade Stadium Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Bulldogs reached the halfway point of the 2015 season with a 4-2 record. Troy drops to 1-4 on the season.

The Bulldogs wasted little time assuming control of the game. After taking the opening kickoff, quarterback Dak Prescott connected with Fred Ross on a 59 yard touchdown pass on the game’s second offensive play to put the Bulldogs up 7-0.

On the ensuring Troy possession, the Bulldogs logged the defensive TD when defensive tackle Nelson Adams fell on a Troy fumble in the end zone to put State up 14-0 less than two minutes into the first quarter.
