Bulldogs Look to Continue to Be a Factor in NFL Draft

It wasn’t too long ago that it was a special day when a Mississippi State football player was taken by a professional team, in the NFL Draft.

It’s a new day now as since the arrival of Dan Mullen in Starkville back in 2009, it has almost become common place for a Bulldog to be picked up by an NFL franchise.  Since 2009, 13 Bulldogs have been drafted and others continue to fight for roster spots around the professional ranks of football.

Dan Mullen often gets criticized for not putting up big recruiting numbers on signing day, but what he has shown is his ability to surround himself with a staff that can develop players, which again is evident based on recent draft numbers and the Bulldogs production in the win column.
