Bulldogs land four-star linebacker

Mississippi State’s strong stretch on the recruiting trail continued Wednesday with the addition of four-star linebacker Tyler Dunning.

The 6-foot, 239-pounder from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida chose the Bulldogs over 11 other offers including SEC schools – Arkansas, Kentucky, LSU and Tennessee.

Dunning is rated the No. 10 inside linebacker in the country and the No. 45 prospect in Florida. He made 46 tackles, 11.5 for loss, one sack, one forced fumble and four recoveries as a junior at St. Thomas Aquinas.

Dunning gives MSU 11 commitments for 2017 and a class rated ninth nationally and third in the SEC.
