Two sandwich shops that grew out of their respective college towns and expanded across Mississippi and the southeast.
The Bulldog Deli opened in 1984 (same owners as Harvey’s). When the company grew they went by the name Sweet Peppers since they weren’t all in Starkville. In 2013, they changed the Bulldog Deli name to Sweet Peppers for uniformity.
