Blog – Prescott, Fitzgerald impress in spring game (with video)

Dak Prescott showed why he is the starting quarterback for Mississippi State.

The senior put on a clinic during Mississippi State’s Maroon and White spring game Saturday afternoon at Davis Wade Stadium.

Prescott passed for three touchdowns, but his Maroon squad lost 28-24 to the White team in his final spring game of his career.

“Here’s a guy that knows what it takes when you’re on the field to go win,” MSU head coach Dan Mullen said. “You need a guy like Dak that’s going to go make sure we continue to improve as a unit on offense and as a team throughout the whole summer months.
