Outside linebacker Matthew Flint used to sit in his backyard and dream with a friend about playing college football and in the NFL. The first part, at least, seems as if it will come true.
Flint (6 feet 0, 213 pounds), from Gurley (Ala.) Madison County, has double-digit offers, including ones from Auburn, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Tennessee in the SEC.
“The running back that plays for our high school team, Tae Provens, we used to sit and talk about this all the time when we used to play football in the backyard,” Flint told GN.
