Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott was arrested for DUI over the weekend in Starkville, Miss., and released a statement taking responsibility. CBSSports.com draft analyst Dane Brugler doesn’t believe Prescott will plummet in the draft.
“Obviously it hurts Prescott’s status and could cost him some money on draft weekend,” Brugler wrote. “However, it shouldn’t be a free-fall situation, mostly because he has built up enough goodwill with teams. Prescott is highly respected by his teammates and opponents alike, and it is tough to find someone who will say a negative word about his character up to this point.
