Mississippi State is already reaping rewards from its official visit weekend as four-star defensive tackle Raekwon Davis flipped his commitment from Alabama to the Bulldogs.
The 6-foot-7, 327-pounder from Meridian had been committed to the Crimson Tide since August 2014. Davis also owns offers from Florida State, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana Tech, LSU, Miami, Ole Miss and South Carolina.
Davis is rated the No. 11 defensive tackle nationally and the fifth-best prospect in Mississippi by 247Sports.com. The U.S. Army All-American is also rated the No. 79 overall prospect.
Davis made 55 tackles and 8.5 sacks as a senior for the Wildcats.
