Adams makes the most of increased role

Nelson Adams has played in all 39 games during his career but his role along Mississippi State’s defensive line increased tremendously in 2015.

Adams drew the first three starts of his career and made 25 tackles, nearly as many has he had in the two previous seasons combined. The Brandon native also recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown during the Troy game.

“My role as a junior was a lot greater than it was as a sophomore,” Adams said. “I just tried to go out there and make plays for my team.
