3-star RB La’damian Webb, Alabama’s ‘Mr. Football,’ commits to Mississippi State

Auburn? Alabama? How about none of the above? The state of Alabama’s “Mr. Football” winner has made his choice, and he’s heading across the state line to Mississippi State.

Three-star running back La’damian Webb committed to the Bulldogs on Wednesday morning, announcing his decision on Twitter.

Webb (5 feet 9, 190 pounds) plays for Opelika (Ala.) Beauregard, where he became the first junior ever to win Alabama’s “Mr. Football” award, in 2016. Webb rushed for 3,342 yards and had a state-record 53 total touchdowns last fall.
