Summer is winding down and we’re now just 15 days away from the beginning of the 2019 Mississippi State football season. Today’s spotlighted player is #15 Jack Harris.
Harris is a versatile 6-foot-3, 247-pound freshman defensive end from Sumrall, Mississippi. He was rated as a three-star defensive end by 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN. He also ranked as the No. 27 prospect from the state of Mississippi by 247Sports and No. 28 by ESPN.
As a senior at Oak Grove High School, Harris compiled 73 tackles, including 13 for loss, six sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and hurried the quarterback three times.
