Can you believe it? The 2018 Mississippi State football season is finally here. With one more day until gameday, today’s spotlighted player is junior wide receiver, #1 Stephen Guidry.
Guidry, a talented 4-star prospect from Morganza, La., was ranked as the top junior college wide receiver in America. He played the past two seasons at Hinds Community College and played his high school ball at Livonia High School.
As a senior at Livonia, he led his Wildcats team to the school’s first state championship, catching a 4-yard touchdown pass in Livonia’s 43-14 victory over Amite to win the 2014 Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Class 3A Championship.
