Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze discussed quarterbacks – the injured one, the new one and the question-mark one – during his weekly press conference ahead of the Rebels’ Saturday night trip to College Station to meet Texas A&M.
With Kelly sidelined, redshirt freshman Pellerin now stands next in line to take the starting job as the wounded Rebels head toward the season’s finish line. Ole Miss must win two of its remaining three games against Texas A&M, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State, to attain bowl eligibility.
