When Ole Miss lost at Auburn two years ago it was the coming out party for Nick Marshall as a running quarterback.
Gus Malzahn had shown some of that with Marshall but not much in a handful of games before that Oct. 5 game.
Marshall passed for less than a hundred yards but ran 14 times for 140 yards and two touchdowns in the Tigers’ 30-22 win.
Sean White isn’t going to be the rebirth of Nick Marshall as a running quarterback. Jeremy Johnson might have been, but White isn’t.
That doesn’t mean Hugh Freeze isn’t expecting to see White carry the ball.
