What do you know: Ole Miss offers player from ‘skull-drug’ high school

In March, high school coach Bill Conides spoke rather snidely of Ole Miss’ recruiting strategy. As it turns out, Ole Miss coaches have offered one of Conides’ players after all.

Conides, who coaches at Bay St. Louis (Miss.) St. Stanislaus College School, was outspoken in his criticism and elicited a response Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze. Now, Freeze and his staff reportedly have offered St. Stanislaus tight end Chase Rogers.

Rogers is a Tennessee commitment. He plays at the same high school as 2018 LSU quarterback pledge Myles Brennan.

Ole Miss signed three tight ends in its 2016 class.
