Player of the Week: Mississippi State's Anriel Howard had her best week as a Bulldog, averaging a double-double as MSU hit the century mark twice and improved to 4-0 on the season. Howard started the week with her first double-double as a Bulldog, tallying 24 points and 13 rebounds in leading MSU to a win against Southland Conference preseason favorite Lamar. After State took a seven-point lead to halftime, Howard took over in the final 20 minutes, scoring 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting and grabbing six rebounds as State scored a school-record 69 second-half points.
