We heard from offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Dan Werner today.
He says there’s no real separation among the quarterbacks right now. That’s not surprising for this stage of camp. However, given the interest in the competition I would think an announcement on any real shift would come first from head coach Hugh Freeze.
“The quarterbacks are all coming along,” Werner said. “It’s just too early to tell. We’re charting every throw the have, every decision they make in the run game. We’ll start working it sooner or later.”
Weekends typically bring an all-out scrimmage or at least more 11-on-11 play.
