Two Ole Miss pitchers are set to become two of the newest members of the Northwest Mississippi Community College baseball team.
Freshmen John Wesley Ray and Moises Castro are headed to Senatobia to play for the Rangers, who finished the 2015 season ranked No. 16 in the NJCAA Division II Top 25 poll.
Ray, a native of Southaven who played at Christian Brothers in Memphis, saw limited action, appearing in five games for the Rebels in 2015. He gave up four hits and four runs in 4 1/3 innings of work.
