For college football coaches across the country, National Signing Day culminates an enormous amount of work. While the recruits sign in a relatively few hours, the coaches have busy been recruiting those prospects for a year or two, or even longer.
Recruiting isn’t easy. It’s a grind. It’s cut-throat. Recruiting better be an every-day commitment or you get left behind. Recruiting is a brutal process for all parties involved.
Some equate National Signing Day to the Christmas of college football. On Christmas Eve, though, we know what’s in store for the next day and everyone can relax that night.
