A good read here on Arkansas State coach Blake Anderson. Arkansas State has an unimpressive FBS history. That changed when the Indian/Red Wolves hired Hugh Freeze. Freeze was the offensive coordinator for former coach Steve Roberts. When Roberts was fired Freeze went 10-2 in 2011 and began a three-year run of “one-and-done” coaches in Jonesboro. Gus Malzahn followed Freeze, and Bryan Harsin, who would move on to his alma mater, Boise State, followed Malzahn.
