Top 38 Ole Miss Rebels: No. 36 DeVante Kincade

DeVante “Switchblade” Kincade came to Ole Miss as one of two four-star quarterbacks in the 2013 class, joining Ryan Buchanan. He played at an elite high school program in Texas (Skyline), showed out at the Elite 11 camp, and had all the athletic tools you look for in a dual-threat quarterback. At the time, Bo Wallace still had two more years of eligibility, giving Kincade and Buchanan time to develop before they got the chance to take the reins in 2016 for good.

Despite completing 16 of 20 passes for 127 yards and a touchdown as a backup last season, it does not appear as though Kincade will be the guy under center this fall.
