In baseball and basketball, versatility is valued. Baseball managers relish the opportunity to have a player who can play multiple positions in the field, particularly in the infield. In basketball, players such as Lebron James and Magic Johnson, who can guard a variety of positions on the court, are treasured. There is not as much versatility in football, but one player who does offer the ability to play multiple spots is offensive lineman Robert Conyers.
A member of the 2012 signing class, Conyers was an under-the-radar prospect who redshirted his first season in Oxford. Since then, he’s played in 18 games, including a pair of starts at right tackle and one at center.
