CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Three schools from the Southeastern Conference will continue postseason play in the National Invitation Tournament. Georgia, Ole Miss and Alabama have all received bids.
The Bulldogs (19-14) earned a No. 2 seed and will face No. 7 Belmont (22-6) on March 15 in Athens, Georgia. The winner of the game will face the victor of No. 3 seed Indiana (18-15) and No. 6 seed Georgia Tech (17-15) at a time and date to be determined.
Alabama (19-14) was awarded a No. 3 seed and will play No. 6 seed Richmond (20-12) on March 14 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
