Ole Miss Men’s Golf freshman standout Braden Thornberry will travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to compete as an individual in the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional beginning May 16.
The regional, hosted by the University of Alabama, will be held at the par-72, 7,544-yard Ol’ Colony Golf Complex in Tuscaloosa.
In his freshman season, Thornberry led the Rebels with a stroke average of 72.24. He competed in all 11 tournaments in his breakout season and found the top 20 six times. The Southaven native earned his first career victory at the FAU Slomin Autism Invite, where he fired a career-low round of 67 in the second round to lead the Rebels to their first tournament title of the season.
