Welcome to our Wednesday List, a look at three SEC football players who will be most in the spotlight in the weekend’s games. Suffice it to say, if these guys shirk from the glare, their teams are in trouble.
For the second week in a row, it’s an all-quarterback group. (Last week, we spotlighted Luke Del Rio, Josh Dobbs and Sean White – and all three played quite well.)
3. Missouri QB Drew Lock
The skinny: Lock has flourished so far in new coordinator Josh Heupel’s offense. He leads the SEC in passing yards (730) and is second in TD passes (six); he already is more than halfway to his yardage total from 2015 (1,332) and has surpassed his touchdown total (four).
