Talking Alabama hangover, ‘Coach Mac’ having his players’ backs and Auburn-LSU

When he talked to the media on Wednesday’s SEC coaches’ teleconference, Hugh Freeze was saying all the right things about Saturday’s home game with Georgia.

It’s a huge understatement to say that Ole Miss had a substantial emotional investment in Saturday’s game, a 48-43 loss to Alabama in Oxford. The Rebels seemingly had control of the game, up 24-3 in the first half. But Alabama stormed back with the help of some inopportune turnovers by Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly.

Now the Rebels, whose losses have been to Florida State and Alabama, have to get back up to play an undefeated Georgia team.
