Ole Miss will be without two likely defensive starters for the Sept. 2 season opener against South Alabama. Rebels coach Matt Luke announced Wednesday that linebacker Detric Bing-Dukes and defensive back Ken Webster, both juniors, will serve one-game suspensions after their arrest on shoplifting charges earlier this week.

Bing-Dukes, a former Georgia signee who played a season at Iowa Western Community College before transferring to Ole Miss prior to the 2016 season, is listed No. 1 at middle linebacker on the preseason depth chart. Webster, who is attempting to come back from an ACL tear, is listed as a co-starter at one cornerback.
