I didn’t make the basketball exhibition last night.
It went like exhibitions are supposed to go which is good news. The trouble comes when you lose exhibitions.
Ole Miss easily defeated Division II Clayton State 103-87. The Rebels got noteworthy performances from players who have to play well if this team is going to make a run at the NCAA tournament.
Among them:
- Stefan Moody had 25 points and was 3-for-5 from the arc.
- Sebastian Saiz had a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds.
- Juco transfer guard Sam Finley had 21 points off the bench.
