Given how its season turned out especially when considering its preseason expectations, perhaps no team in the SEC – or country, for that matter – had a more disappointing season than Ole Miss.
And while a 5-7 record (and no bowl game) for a team thought by many to be a national championship contender is an ugly enough figure, it’s not hard to see why the Rebels were a disaster in 2016 after taking a deeper look at the stats.
Ole Miss always was expected to have a solid offense, and it succeeded in doing that for the most part.
