One of the best college quarterbacks in the country apparently suffered a non-contact right knee injury and had to leave the game Saturday. Shea Patterson, highly touted five-star recruit out of IMG Academy in Florida, appeared to take a misstep on a long distance throw and yank his right knee. He went into the tent, and thence to the locker room.
Davis Potter of the Oxford Eagle reports that Patterson is questionable to return, according to a program spokesperson. At the time of his exit, Patterson was 5-of-9 passing for 33 yards and no touchdowns.
