Well, well, well... Saturday’s game between Ole Miss and Memphis just got quite a bit more interesting.
News broke Tuesday after Ole Miss’ win over NC State that seven foot big man Moussa Cisse had been cleared by the NCAA to play this season in Oxford. Cisse began his college career at Memphis before transferring to Oklahoma St. for the past two seasons.
Cisse, a native of Guinea, tweeting “Thanks be to God” in Arabic on Tuesday evening seemingly right after the news came down.
Now, the Rebels have not one seven foot big on its eligible roster but two, which if I remember basketball values height, should be a very good thing.
