Moving ahead, the open week is behind, and it’s now No. 17-ranked LSU — after the Tigers lost at home to Arkansas by a couple of scores — that will face No. 25 Ole Miss. By virtue of various losses over the weekend the Rebels got back into the AP rankings but not the coaches list.
Whether Ole Miss can stay in the AP’s Top 25 and break back into the coaches will depend on what it can get done this Saturday afternoon at home against LSU which has now lost two straight.
The biggest concern for Ole Miss right now is its secondary.
