Van Chancellor is the most successful women's basketball coach at Ole Miss. Chancellor won 439 games and has a .740 winning percentage roaming the Ole Miss sidelines. Chancellor led the Rebels to the NCAA Tournament 14 times with four Elite Eight appearances. He coached several Ole Miss greats including all-time leading scorer Peggie Gillom who scored 2486 career points to go with 1,271 rebounds, one of just two 2000 point and 1,000 rebounders in school history.
