SEC teams receive bids to NCAA Tennis Championships

BIRMINGHAM, Al. -- The NCAA Division I Men's & Women's Tennis Subcommittees have selected the 128 teams (64 men, 64 women) that will compete in the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's & Women's Tennis Championships.

The Southeastern Conference had a total of 20 teams receive bids. The eight men's teams in the field are Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Texas A&M. The 12 women's teams are Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.

First- and second-round competition takes place May 12-13 for the men and May 12-13 or 13-14 for the women and features four teams playing in a single-elimination format.
