SEC teams place in top four at NCAA Championships

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Three Southeastern Conference men's track and field teams and two women's teams placed in the top four of the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships held Friday and Saturday at the Birmingham Crossplex.

The Arkansas men finished second with 39 points, followed by Tennessee with 34 points and LSU with 28 points. The Razorback women placed second with 50 points, while Georgia was third with 45 points. Oregon claimed both the men's and women's titles with 62 and 53 points, respectively.

Arkansas's runner-up finish marked its fifth consecutive NCAA men's indoor top-three performance since the 2012 season.
