Men's Co-Runner of the Week: Vincent Kiprop, Alabama
- Alabama's Vincent Kiprop finished second at the 2017 Crimson Classic, covering the 8,000-meter course in 23:26.40, the second-fastest time in course history.
- Kiprop now has a victory and two runner-up finishes in his three outings this season. He won the 8,000-meter UC Riverside Invitational on Sept. 16 and was runner-up to teammate Gilbert Kigen in the 5-mile Joe Piane Invitational at Notre Dame on Sept. 29.
- At the time, Kiprop's time on Friday was the fastest in the SEC this season.
Men's Co-Runner of the Week: Alex George, Arkansas
- Arkansas' Alex George was the top Southeastern Conference finisher at a loaded Pre-Nationals meet which featured eight top-30 nationally ranked programs.
