Ole Miss (34-24) could not capitalize on a few key situations and were punished for it by the two-seed Arkansas Razorbacks in a 5-3 loss. Mike Bianco’s club had two on and no outs a few times in this game but were unable to make Dave Van Horn’s club pay for it.
The Rebs got a decent start out of Zack Phillips and had a lead in the sixth inning but the Hogs tacked on two runs and chased the midweek arm out of the game. Mike Bianco elected to use two relievers in this one so it’ll be interesting to see how they attack the elimination game from a bullpen standpoint tomorrow.
