It’s the day Ole Miss fans and administrators have been waiting for (and dreading): A reports says the school will learn its fate with the NCAA on Friday.
The Rebels’ football program is less than 24 hours from learning the penalties that the NCAA is handing down, as reported by the Jackson (Miss.) Clarion-Ledger.
The program is facing 21 violations, including 15 of the most serious Level I classification, following a wide-ranging investigation. Individuals facing potential penalties include former coach Hugh Freeze, who was fired in July for “misconduct” not directly tied to the NCAA case.
