A couple of quick notes on the Rebels’ fast start on offense.
Through two games last year Ole Miss had scored 10 touchdowns, nine of them by the offense.
Through two games this season it has scored 21 touchdowns, 18 by the offense.
The Rebels also had a fast start on offense last year scoring 35, 41 and 56 points in the first three games.
So there are some similarities between last year’s fast start and this year’s.
The Rebels, of course, were not able to maintain that pace last year. There were different factors that played into that.
