We’re about 40 minutes from first pitch at Swayze Field in an Oxford Regional elimination game between Tulane and Ole Miss.
The Rebels lost to Utah 6-5 in extras before a crowd of 10,166 last night. They weren’t all here at the end, some having been chased away by rain. They were all here and played a role when Ole Miss went up 5-2 in the fifth.
Swayze Field and its atmosphere have a great reputation, and it’s always neat to see visiting players at regionals get out there phones take video of the stadium. Saw a lot of that Thursday on the practice day.
