On Friday night Ole Miss received good news in the form of a commitment from former Syracuse defensive end Qaadir Sheppard. The Cuse transfer will have to sit the 2016 season out, but will have three years of eligibility remaining following this season. Sheppard announced his next move via his personal instagram account on.
As a freshman for the Orange in 2015 Sheppard played in nine games, tallying one tackle and one interception. He was suspended for the final three games of his freshman season due to an unspecified violation of team rules. He decided to leave the program in February.
