Practice stops, work doesn’t: Rebels WR power-cleans 350 pounds

Ole Miss just finished spring practice. If you are thinking strength and conditioning coach Paul Jackson and the current players are on vacation soaking up the sun, you’re incorrect.

The Rebels are currently enduring workouts that have seen wide receiver D.K. Metcalf power-clean 350 pounds. If you’re wondering, it’s the same D.K. Metcalf that is less than a year removed from a broken ankle.

Standing 6-feet-4 and weighing 224 pounds, the former five-star recruit has a very bright future both at Ole Miss and beyond. According to Jackson, five Rebels power-cleaned over 350 pounds, with senior offensive lineman Daronte Bouldin taking the top honor with 370.
