It was a long weekend for Ole Miss, which traveled almost 2,200 miles to play at California this past weekend. The Rebels led 16-7 at halftime, but it was all Cal in the second half and the Golden Bears won 27-16
Even with the loss, it seems as if the Rebels won some new fans.
Associate director of athletic media relations Kyle Campbell showed that the players and staff made quite an impact outside of sports. The email Campbell posted to Twitter doesn’t list the name or the organization of the person who sent the note, but it was evident the players are doing things the right way.
