OXFORD, Miss. -- In front of a national TV audience, Senior Madi Osias broke the single-season record for wins in a season earning her 18th victory of 2016, leading the Rebel softball team to a 5-0 shutout over UAB Wednesday night at the Ole Miss Softball Complex.
The Rebels (35-15) jumped on the Blazers (22-26) early and often, plating three within the first three innings, capturing their 20th home win of the season, the first team in program history to reach the 20-win mark in home contests.
Osias was lights out in her 21st start of her senior campaign, tossing her sixth complete game of the year in her second shutout.
