Ole Miss already knew its senior quarterback was leaving. Now, the Rebels also will be without one of their top receiving targets in 2017.
Junior wide receiver Damore’ea Stringfellow will be leaving school early to enter the 2017 NFL draft, the university announced Monday afternoon on Twitter.
Stringfellow caught 46 passes for 716 yards and six touchdowns this season in Oxford. His catch total placed him third on the team, behind tight end Evan Engram and receiver Van Jefferson.
Stringfellow, a junior, transferred to the Rebels from Washington in June 2014. During his first season with the Rebels in 2015, he caught 36 passes for 503 yards.
