The Ole Miss Women’s Basketball team opens up its regular season at home in the Pavilion against the Southeastern Louisiana Lions on Friday.
With nine returning players, the players are excited to start the season and see how their hard work and changes in the offseason have paid off, according to Coach Matt Insell.
“Our girls have made a huge commitment in the gym because we did not shoot the ball very well last year,” Insell said. “We challenged them, and the shooting we did in the summer you see paying off. That’s something I looking forward to seeing all year.
