Fresh off a 22-point trouncing of Vanderbilt, Ole Miss find themselves the happy recipients of Ed Orgeron’s LSU Tigers in Vaught-Hemingway on Saturday evening. At 5-2, COACHO’s outfit may own a record that belies how good they really are. The Tigers own a 24-21 loss to Troy, and a 37-7 shellacking at the hands of Mississippi State.
Ole Miss is in no better a situation. Smarting after back-to-back losses to Alabama and Auburn, the Rebs came out and fired a howitzer straight into Derek Mason and Vanderbilt’s faces, popping off a 57-35 win that certainly felt refreshing at the time.
