The Rebs looked more than confident and capable in their annual rivalry game against LSU.
Behind another masterful performance from Chad Kelly and a suffocating Rebel run defense, Ole Miss cruised to a 38-17 win over the rival LSU Tigers in Oxford tonight. Kelly, whose 33rd touchdown broke Eli Manning's single-season total touchdowns record at Ole Miss, completed 19 of 34 passes for 280 yards, two scores, and zero interceptions, and led the team in rushing with 81 yards and two additional touchdowns. LSU actually led the Rebs in yards (508 to 432), but committed three turnovers to Ole Miss' one and struggled on fourth down, keeping them out of the endzone.
