Auburn’s offense is coming to life scoring 100 points in the last two games. Ole Miss just lost 66-3. So this is no dream matchup for the Rebels.
For Ole Miss to have hope, they’ll need sophomore quarterback Shea Patterson to return to his best after a brutal week at Alabama. But Auburn has Kerryon Johnson, fresh off three touchdowns against Mississippi State, carrying the ball against a Rebels run defense that surrendered 365 yards on the ground to the Crimson Tide. Yikes.
Johnson has been on an historic tear since reentering the Tigers lineup following injury.
